Letrozole

Have any Gransnetters been prescribed Letrozole following a lumpectomy for breast cancer? I'm about to start on this drug and would like some unbiased advice as to what to expect.

I have not heard of letrozole but after 2 years on tamoxifen ,I was prescribed anastomosis which sounds similar and is another treatment.
I was fine on it after side effects on tamoxifen.
I did gain weight and I did have some bleeding which was investigated as a side effect. I had a polypectomy? but no further problems.
I stayed on it for approx 3/4 years and this was 16/ 17 years ago now. My very best wishes to you.

My tablet insisted on changing anastrozole to something entirely different!!!
