OH has it and has been taking Xarelto for about four years.

My H was diagnosed some years ago. He had warfarin and then a cardioversion which ,for him, didn't solve the problem.
He was on warfarin until a few months ago when having been diagnosed with Alzheimer's ,and I had a problem with him taking them , the GP and I decided to stop them. I can't say it has made any difference.
The consultant ,when I discussed it said ,just get on and live your life.
That may not help but
I feel sometimes you need to take that advice and not overly worry.

OH has paroxysmal AF - i.e. sudden bad bouts of it which send him into hospital. He takes flecainide and now it very rarely happens.

He's also on warfarin.

DH has AF and has been on verapamil for years. Suffered heart block last Easter so now has a pacemaker. They're keeping an eye on him with six monthly checks but so far so good.

My OH had this after major surgery 2yrs ago and was prescribed Amiodarone for a month which seemed to work and he hasn't had it since.

Two friends have it. One takes beta-blockers, the other had a pacemaker fitted.

Anyone else got it? What do you take for it?
