My nephew has been diagnosed T1 for 15-20 yrs. In the last 3-4 yrs he has been hospitalised on several occasions ( 3-4 times a yr) with ketoacidosis. Despite the medics changing his meds more than once.
Does anyone know a T1 who suffers like this ? Normal ketone range is 0.6-1.5 it's regarded as high when 1.6-3.0 he was in resus last week with levels twice that.
Expensive free range chicken was tasteless!
Equality and Diversity Laws, should these be scrapped??
I feel like I lack basic general knowledge
