Happy Easter Wobbly

Craicon. It has taken me years to summon the courage to speak to someone about it.
Initially i went through the LLoyds online doctor, but I could not get sense out of them. I decided to ask my pharmacist (who by the way, is a young lady) over the phone. She was very helpful and matter of fact, telling me that I did need to speak to my GP, but there were lots of men in my position.
So, I finally spoke to the doctors receptionist about what I needed to do. Again she was very helpful and did not make me feel at all embarrassed, she arranged for a Dr. to phone me. Again he was very easy to speak to about it and again said that I was one among many. He asked me a few simple questions, he obviously had my medical record in front of him. The most embarrassing question was "do you get erections at night or in the morning" I guess, if you don't there may be underlying physical problems. He explained a few of the side effects and said he would prescribe 4 mid strength tablets to try. ( he did say I should not take more than one a day !!!!! OMG)

So -- why didn't I speak to him years ago - it was not in the least embarrassing and it was obvious that many men have the same problem and it is simply a medical blip like any other.

Hopefully the bits will be less wobbly from now on!

I want my DH to enquire to the GP about it but he won’t do it. His loss, I say!
