Thank you both, i will tell him,i did look on Amazon, some were just strips,others were machines, but seemed very expensive
Should explain its for my son who lives in Spain, he doesnt speak the language yet,,[is leaning] but has to take an interpreter to the Drs with him, so would just like to keep a check on it in the meantime

True, lots of chemists offer the service for around a fiver.

I don't have a tester, but I got a test done at Boot's. It was a few years ago, so don't know if the service is still available.

Amazon. I bought the same one used at the local Hospital for about 30quid. I no longer use it so can't remember the name without checking.
