With age I have a few brown patches but I have now grown two warts either side of my forehead. They are not very big size wise but would like to get rid of them as I am very conscious of them. Currently I have a fringe which helps hide them. Has anyone one managed to get rid of theirs if they have them?

I have them on my forehead too, hiding under a fringe. doubt they would be removed on the nhs now, so wait with interest to hear what others might say. I say keep the fringe. smile

May I suggest you get them looked at by your GP, if you have not already done so.
Just to rule out anything more serious.

Some GP surgeries like mine do minor surgery and once the warts were ruled out as being non cancerous they would be removed.

I used to have a wart on my forehead just at the end of my eyebrow, which was a nuisance. I had an appointment to have it removed on the NHS but there was a long wait. I got tired of waiting and began dabbing it with tea tree oil after reading this suggested. After a couple of weeks it disappeared and has not come back. Not sure if I should recommend this to anyone else though. NB the doctor had confirmed it was a wart and not something nasty.

Am stacking up a few health investigations, but will add this to the list. Thanks for the advice.

Using duck tape over a wart is another way to remove it, so I've read.
Bit awkward if its on your face though.

Haha MissAdventure just can imagine me walking around with duct tape patched on my face!

I have had them looked at as I have a previous history of basal cell carcinomas. Was told they were age related (gee thanks for that!) warts and not something more sinister...

Second teatree oil here. Very succesful removing a wart on DGC hand.
