I know exactly how you feel eilyann......I'm trying to be enthusiastic ...and want to be.....but this rotten illness stops that. Just feel so negative and empty about everything and then I beat myself up as I feel I shouldnt feel like this......I've really nothing to be sad about...oh how I hate it sonetimes. Love to you all.

sorry to hear the eilyann. I have days like that, too. I'm only alright when I've got some definite plans to do something or go somewhere. Left alone, I don't get up until lunchtime, don't get dressed until the afternoon (Saturday was one of those days), but when I know that I'm meeting someone/ going to work/have got someone coming here, I get up and sort myself out.

I can honestly say, though, that all day, I look forward to getting into my bed and getting to sleep - it's the only time I'm alright.

Depression is so awful, isn't it? This time of year is particularly bad, as everyone is dashing about, and every magazine or advertisement shows people having a marvellous time. eilyann, is there a friend or relative you could meet up with?

Sorry you are feeling so low, eilyann.

Feeling absolute rubbish today. Been onto threads where others are planning all sorts especially writing Christmas cards but all I want to do is hide under the duvet.

Everyone in the group can see what is said, and can respond or not..

No problem Annie, it would just be nice to be able to reply to somebody soonish, but that is the extent of my knowledge.

Yes Annie, you have to be very very careful indeed. Perhaps it is a silly idea.

My grasp on technology is fairly weak!

I don’t understand chat rooms, does one not have to be invited to join and are they monitored ?

I remember someone set up a chat room where my daughters mental illness was discussed, it devastated me.

I wish there was some way we could chat? I am not very good at technology. How would we set this up?
