Goodness Jud..., I'm glad to hear you had it successfully treated. And yes, it was scary but I went straight back to sleep. Just thinking about it now, but as you say at our age our bodies dont always function properly! unfortunately.

A surprise, yes, but on medication that seems to be keeping things stable. Not as bad as having a skin cancer diagnosed on my head during the summer (I am already a cancer survivor) All removed now and seems fine.

At our time of life, we can recognise when things aren't right and need to have anything unusual checked out. That must have been a horrible experience for you, especially at night when we seem at our most vulnerable. shock

I'm sure that was a shock for you.

I'll make an appointment Jud thank you, although I do check BP regularly.

Have you had your blood pressure checked recently annep ? It could something to do with that. Perhaps a visit to your GP for a health check would be a good idea.

Until I had a health check recently, I had no idea that my BP was very high.

Last night in bed I got this strange feeling like tingling going round and round my whole head. I tried to call my husband. It stopped after a few seconds. I thought I was having a stroke.
