Not sure the link will work. I am quite stressed atm and doing this bodyscan 2 or 3 times each day is very helpful. Its only ten minutes which might seem a lot but its worth it.

I find a Mindfulness body scan useful when I’m in pain to highlight the comfortable bits. Hope it helps you annep, it surely can’t do harm.

It helps me cope with fibromyalgia too Cornergran. It's good for high blood pressure too - been proven.
I wanted to share it so others can benefit.

It helps lower high blood pressure in some cases "Moocow* but it does not replace medication. If you think you have high bp then you should see your doctor and use along side any treatment prescribed.

It's a case of "white coat syndrome" apparently annep so wondering if this will help as i have my check up in 3 months time.

I'm not a medical person or an expert in Mindfulness Meditation Moocow. I have attended classes- one run by Frank Liddy who works in this field and whose bodyscan I shared. Meditation can help anxiety which might help the WCS. I think I would buy a blood pressure monitor which is easy to use and check it at home. Sit quietly for a minute or two before you take your bp. If you do this for a couple of times maybe 2-3 times a day? ( again not an expert) you nay find your bp is ok and you wont get so anxious next time it is being checked at the doctors. I will google and see what I can discover. But meditation in general has been found to be extremely helpful by many people. I highly recommend it.
