breast abscess

I've had an operation to remove it, but the doctors and surgeons said women in their 50's don't get them!! Obviously they are right.

Assume you have seen the doctor? You may need anti biotics.

I’ve nit had one since Ive been older but had one in my twenties when I was breastfeeding . I was prescribed antibiotics and found putting s hot flannel on it regularly helped. I remember it being very painful and I was also feverish so maybe take some mild painkillers
