Anyone take Sertraline? 50mg did it work for you?

Hi Bikergran - I have been on Sertraline for approximately nine years. It took at least six weeks before I noticed any improvement of my symptoms. I take the maximum dose of 200mg for anxiety and depression. It seems to keep me on an even keel and I am happy to stay on this dose for the long term. My daughter is a psychiatrist and she sees no harm in continuing with the prescribed medication!

Just wondering if anyone has taken this anti depressant. I'm now on my 6th week and feel no different what so ever.

Other than finding harder to wake up and come to in a morning and sleeping heavier and lack of physical energy.(instead of running at 50mph I down to 30mph)

I understand it can take 4-6 weeks to feel any improvement in ones mood, but expected it working by now.
