SparklyGrandma Sat 13-Jul-19 12:34:39

nanny2507 I am having a home check too...tomorrow. If approved, I am adopting an older cat....exciting and daunting all at the same time.

Annie I know the gardener problem well, a friends son here has just started doing paid gardening work. We are having a try out this week. I have 11 pots to get planted and refreshed.

We live in hope.?

Joce345 Sat 13-Jul-19 12:17:17

Morning all.
Yes chin up Nonnie I am not as good today but still better than I was so staying hopefully for us all.
How are you doing today Annie?.

Nonnie Sat 13-Jul-19 10:17:14

Oh Annie it does sound hard but I think there is also a danger in not drinking enough isn't there? I only have a pain in my shoulder which feels like I have pulled something and am finding that limits what I can do. I would find it very hard to be physically limited so you have my sympathy.

Had a very bad night but keep reminding myself that yesterday was a good day and that could happen again if I keep trying. Chin up everyone.

Joce345 Sat 13-Jul-19 09:51:20

Dear Annie you must go steady we don’t want you doing any more damage to your self..

Anniebach Fri 12-Jul-19 22:07:22

Yes Joce, near the back door, I certainly will not do it again until I am physically stronger . Even walking to loo hurts so much I have cut back on mugs of tea .

Joce345 Fri 12-Jul-19 21:51:17

Sorry manage

Joce345 Fri 12-Jul-19 21:50:34

Did I miss something there Annie? Did you manager to go in your garden?? X

Joce345 Fri 12-Jul-19 21:49:05

Aww Annie there will be another gardener, always plenty round here hope you find one soon.

Yes nanny like Annie said please take care.

Anniebach Fri 12-Jul-19 21:22:06

nanny, take care please

All good wishes for tomorrow, do let us know x

Joce wonderful to learn you are having a good day, write it
down, how you feel, you can read it then whenever you wish x

I am so tired today, yesterday evening I watered my garden pots, woke at 6.00am, back, leg and arms hurting so much.
My gardener has given up gardening so need to find someone else.

nanny2507 Fri 12-Jul-19 18:56:50

I too am feeling a little happier today. I am really looking forward to my home check tomorrow and i,m all excited and then this morning a man called to say he is sure he has seen tank in his garden!!!!. However i haven't dashed off to his house as he also said it was a Siamese and tank is a ragdoll. I feel really bad as if it is him it will mean a few more nights under the stars. he is going to get a pic of him but he doesn't visit everyday. i pray it is

Nonnie Fri 12-Jul-19 16:01:55

Thanks annie & Joce. So glad it is happening for you too J.

Its not really about the achievement, sort of thing I would have taken in my stride and not thought about before. As annie says its about how it has made me feel. Its led me to do a few household tasks which would normally by lunchtime be too much for me. Now I'm going to deliberately faff about so I don't end up too tired. Hope it carries on tomorrow and that more start to feel better too.

Joce345 Fri 12-Jul-19 15:57:03

That’s brilliant news Nonnie.. I think it must be something in the air I have felt more positive today than I have for the past year, and I am hoping and praying that it last for us...
hope everyone else has had a positive day..

How are you today Annie?

Anniebach Fri 12-Jul-19 15:17:37

Hi all x

So happy for you nonnie it’s how you feel that is
important, enjoy the feeling and remember it , you have
been brave , I award you a ? x

Nonnie Fri 12-Jul-19 13:58:02

A real positive day today. Feeling ridiculously pleased that I found the spare fabric covered button for my blouse in my button jar! I've had this blouse for years!

Also had to look back and find paperwork from up to 50 years ago and found enough to do what I needed to do and did it all as well. This has been at the back of my mind for a couple of years so is real progress.

These may not sound like much but they are to me and have made a huge difference to how I feel.

England & Wales team won the cricket yesterday and we plan to spend Sunday in front of the TV watching it. Feeling more positive that I have for a long time. Hoping it rubs off on some of you.

Doodle Thu 11-Jul-19 21:21:53

annie so nice your DGD has you to discuss things with. Nice to be wanted ?

Doodle Thu 11-Jul-19 21:20:48

Ooh nanny snap. We too have a cupboard under the stairs (we don’t have any stairs either). We also have a shed (but no garden) . The shed is on the landing and the cupboard under the stairs is in our hall. Old habits die hard ?

SalsaQueen Thu 11-Jul-19 20:16:53
