Nonnie Thu 13-Jun-19 11:55:05

Hello all. Nothing to say today.

SalsaQueen Thu 13-Jun-19 11:53:38

nanny2507. It sounds as though you've done all you can, so far. I really do hope that your little cat comes back x

nanny2507 Thu 13-Jun-19 08:59:12

Hi salsa yes i have done all that except the newspaper as they wanted £500 to put a tiny pic in and as i had just paid 1k for the detective dog and i have £500 for a reward i have no money left...however the local magazine ( there are 4 tiny villages here so we share a monthly magazine) is putting a reward pic in for july and they wanted a donation that was less than £10 but i gave £15. one day i was leafletting my local area and due to the arthritis i just couldnt move so a neighbour drove me home it took about 1 min to drive it but man i was in agony {grin}

SalsaQueen Thu 13-Jun-19 08:30:26

Anniebach....thanks. I woke up in a horrible sweat, my bed and pyjamas all wet and horrible (nasty), so I've had a nice bath, got clean nightwear on, changed my bed, and I'm going to lounge about today.

SalsaQueen Thu 13-Jun-19 08:28:32

nanny2507...............you may have already answered this somewhere, so apologies if you have. Have you tried:

contacting all the vets nearby (say a 5 mile radius?
ringing PDSA, RSPCA, any other animal shelters?
Putting up posters with a description and photo?
Placing an advertisement in your local newspaper?

I did all of those things when one of mine went missing. I printed off posters, put them in every door on my street and the next road, as well as the local shops. I laminated some, tied them to various lampposts. I did so many things to find her...... and she strolled in at 3 am one day, all thin and wet. She didn't venture far again.

nanny I understand. Perhaps someone did pick up your kitten but it could easily be someone who would take it home and love it. Not ideal for you I know but perhaps your young kitten is being loved and well cared for and not out alone somewhere. I hope that your reward works and you get your kitten back but if not, please try and think of it being loved by someone. I can truly understand your anguish as one of my dogs ran off once and I nearly went mad until I caught him. I do hope you get some relief from this worry soon.

nanny2507 Wed 12-Jun-19 22:17:48

I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day night all x

nanny2507 Wed 12-Jun-19 22:14:18

doodle I hired a pet tracker dog and the scent stops in my garden. This only happens when the cat has been picked up. X

Not been out for a while Joce, we get more than our fair share of rain in Wales. I have the heating on.

It does set me back to square 1 and at times I do think
‘Why bother ‘

Joce345 Wed 12-Jun-19 21:27:32

Aww that’s good it does help to see um Annie.. Reiki I did try that once and yes I agree Annie it’s very relaxing.

Anniebach Wed 12-Jun-19 20:27:32

nanny story you may have answered this before but how do you know your kitten was stolen?

Doodle Wed 12-Jun-19 20:22:47

Joce345 Wed 12-Jun-19 19:56:40

Hi all how’s every one doing tonight.
Annie hope you are well,
Did you enjoy you time with your granddaughter?

nanny2507 Wed 12-Jun-19 19:19:35

hello all, sadly nothing to say tonight x

SparklyGrandma Wed 12-Jun-19 17:47:22

Hi everyone and Annie how is everyone?

Been ill most of today, trying out new drug/ tablet, it’s caused tummy problems.

But it takes my mind of everything else. Everyone is worthy of being listened to pheonix.

Annie glad you saw your granddaughter again, what a joy ?

SalsaQueen Wed 12-Jun-19 17:44:13

Anniebach ....Glad you had a visit from your Granddaughter. It's lovely to see them, isn't it? I usually see my 2 DGs after school on Wednesdays, with my son (their dad, as he doesn't work on Wednesday), but I'm so snotty and feeling lousy that my husband has gone instead - he left work early.

I hope others are having a better evening.

Anniebach Wed 12-Jun-19 13:21:30

No apology needed nonnie, remember - stay strong x

Nonnie Wed 12-Jun-19 13:19:07

Sorry Annie sometimes I get things quite wrong on weepy days.

Anniebach Wed 12-Jun-19 12:09:41

nonnie my younger granddaughter being here had no connection with my younger daughter’s distress over her
paternal grandmother dying, younger granddaughter comes every week.

Stay strong nonnie x

Nonnie Wed 12-Jun-19 11:11:15

Annie sounds like you had a lovely time even though the reason GD was there was not so good.

Phoenix just because you think you are better off than many it doesn't stop you hurting. I really work hard at being positive and it doesn't change a thing. I have this week started a long job preparing to do something really hard and it is very stressful but so is not doing it.

Trying to be stronger today than yesterday but still feeling very weepy. Hope others are doing better

Anniebach Wed 12-Jun-19 10:15:18

Good morning friends x

How is everyone?

Anniebach Tue 11-Jun-19 22:38:13

phoenix , I think you mean something between you and another person has happened and it is making you sad, I am not asking I assure you.

If so, and the person refuses to discuss things perhaps you have to accept, took me ages to accept my three sisters will not speak to me and I don’t know why, well I known someone told them untruths but as they refuse contact I cannot tell them

I may be so off Mark sorry x

phoenix Tue 11-Jun-19 22:29:31

Just to add/explain, I know what is making me sad, not a clue as to why this situation has come about.

Trying to talk about it with the person concerned would be a complete non starter, they just shut down.
