I am due to go on holiday soon to a hot foreign county and thought it might be a good idea to start a course of good quality probiotics as I have frequent tummy and bowel problems.

Trouble is, I’m not sure which one to try. Also, do they help at all.

Any suggestions, Grans? I need to start taking them soon as holiday in one week.

After an accident and a month on high dosage antibiotics, DD's biome was shot to pieces. Nothing worked until a year or more later her pharmacist recommended Symprove www.symprove.com/. It did the trrick and she still takes it on ocasion

The current thinking seems to be to take them when you have a course of antibiotics. My GS1 was prescribed them by the doctor in Croatia along with the antibiotics.

Apparently all the antibacterial lotions in the world won’t stop ecoli. Will ask DD if any alternative has been mentioned.

I’ve been taking them regularly as EMPD leaves me prone to thrush but obviously got that wrong. I usually get mine from Healthspan or H&B.
