Post menopause hot flushes

This is weird! I've started having night sweats and my menopause was 20 years ago! So do we assume it's normal?

I’m still having night sweats now and then and I’m 71 started my menopause in my very late 40s.

Me too MM, but only a couple of times during the night. They don't tell you that post-menopause the b****y things continue do they!

It's normal for me. I went through the menopause at 53. I had terrible night sweats and daily got flushes. At 67 I don't have the hot flushes through the day, but I still have night sweats, throwing off the duvet only to be cold in a few minutes, sometimes four or five times a night. It's not every night now, but still a frequent occurance.

Hi Gransnetters

I am post menopausal and have recently started having hot flashes again at night and some during the day. Has anyone else had this after going though the menopause... is it normal?
