Knee arthroscopy

Has anybody had a knee arthroscopy ? I am having one in January and am wondering what sort of a recovery it is ? How soon can you drive ? Walk ? ( I have a dog that needs a lot of exercise )
I haven’t been able to ask the consultant as he was in a mad rush last time I saw him
Any idea ? Thanks

The recovery is pretty speedy from what I remember and I walked with crutches on the same day as I left hospital. I was back to normal in the space of a week.

You should have had a pre op appointment where they told you in detail what to expect, how to prepare and recovery time

Those I know have had variable recovery time from a couple of weeks to a month or so. You will need to find someone else to walk the dog for a few weeks.
