Hello my friends I am back from my holiday. Unfortunately I got norovirus so that spoilt a few days and has left me feeling a bit woolly and weak. Still, on the mend now so hopefully will improve soon. DH might be going down with a cold so neither of us in full working order ? (I won’t mention where we have been as having mentioned the Norovirus it might identify me to someone)
Such sadness on GN at the moment with bereavements and some very poorly families. My heart goes out to them all.

It will take me a while to catch up with all that has gone on.

annie hello my dear. It sounds as though a lot is going on for you. You need a social secretary to organise all these events for you. Take it one day at a time. Tell David I was thinking of him on St David’s Day. I had some Welshcakes. Not had any for a long time. They were quite nice but nothing like the ones my mum used to bake on her griddle. Took me back just seeing them.?

I had severe depression after my second daughter was born,
I now realise I am not depressed but unhappy, a difference

Good evening to all. How are you today, Anniebach? Hope you're winning the war and maintaining control of any unplanned raids on your peace and comfort. Still not the weather for new windows, I should imagine, but it's such hard work getting people to firstly understand what you want (and what you decide in your own home) and then getting them to stick to what's agreed. A state of constant alert is needed - totally exhausting and messes with our days far too often. Hope you are feeling much better now, Doodle Norovirus is truly awful. Had it at a New Year some years ago. My adult Son vomited so much that he took himself off to hospital. It was one of the first times that the illness swept through the UK. You possibly now need another holiday to get over it all - so maybe take it very easy and be kind to yourselves until you feel strong again. Hope everyone in The Gang feels more energised and positive this week. March has arrived so the bad weather must should be on its way out by now.... ? Whatever you're doing, take care all.

Nonnie hope you and lovely Marshal and friends are alright and your mood has lifted. Sometimes things just overwhelm us don't they.

I just feel a bit down today, my hands hurt and despite the meds and gel they don't seem to get any better, I don't suppose they will really. I had a call earlier last week that the staff were bringing my daughter to visit, which I was looking forward to, but now with this virus that is going around I don't think it will happen. Anyway I keep reading the poem by Eric Hanson and I have sent her a copy.

My friends,

I said last week I felt swamped after the GP visit, had a telephone call from Social Services this afternoon. Seems the
GP was concerned that I live in isolation, with the exception of
my younger granddaughters visit every three weeks. I have not received any support with going out. The person I spoke to will speak to the head of Social Workers dept tomorrow and
will see what help they can offer me.

So please, prayers / crossed fingers/ dancing naked on the lawn , anything, for me to have some support x

annie I was on my way to bed when I thought I’d do my nightly check on the Gang so I’ve just seen your message.
Definitely got all fingers crossed (toes too). Prayers as always.
Dancing naked on the lawn in my case would frighten too many people ??. Let’s hope at last you get the support and help you deserve. It’s been so long.x

Goodnight Annie sorry that I don't have any time to speak to you because it takes a lot of energy to dance naked anywhere, especially on the lawn when I have a bad slightly better foot, so excuse me whilst I go search for my dancing shoes. Keep everything crossed, good things are going to happen, you will get some help and maybe you'll see the next sunny day from the other side of your door!
