My appeal yesterday to you all ?

Prayers, crossed fingers and toes, dancing naked on the lawn ,

One or all certainly helped. Had telephone call this morning from Social Services regarding yesterday’s call.

I am to have support to go out on Fred , support for the
problems caused by the arthritis and a befriender who will
call and chat about ‘things’ not problems , girl talk and gossip.

Hi all still very tied today hope all is well with you all, not had chance to read all post yet...
Had a few bad day while away but that much to see and do didn’t have time to think into thinks so much thank goodness, dam this heath anxiety..
thank you all for your good wishes I did really enjoy our holiday will be back when not so tied..

salsa pain much worse today sadly its because I had to stop my arthritis injection while I was on antibiotics but it will settle soon I'm sure. As for binks the intention is to adopt but at his pace. X

Anniebach That's good news . I used to be a Befriender, for a company named Crossroads Care (I did care duties too). Best of luck with it, it will do you good to have someone to chat with. x

Nanny2507 Oh no, that's a pity. Will you be able to have the injection again when you've finished the antibiotics? I hope Binks moves in with you x

Wonderful news, Annie. Friday? New beginnings and hope that some sunny weather will light your day and help make it a special trip to the other side of your door, however near or far. Be strong and hopeful everyone, better times will come again.

Annie just had to post to say how happy I am for you. I hope everyone is feeling better. Sorry I have not mentioned you all but I am in pain today and will go back to bed for a while. I am waiting for a call about a MRI scan.

joce can take a while to get over a holiday no matter how much you enjoyed it.

nanny antibiotics can make you feel depressed so give it time.

I have had another telephone call this morning, another charity group, an offer to accompany me out to socialise,
my choice where, I cannot go into town because of the bridge
so chose a coffee morning in the Church hall. When it’s
warmer and my legs gain strength, then Fred will be on the
road.

Anniebach I'm glad you're going to be able to get out when the weather's better. I'm very well, thanks. I've been very busy all day, which is good.

rafichagran Sorry you're having a lot of pain. I hope you soon get the MRI.

Hello all. Been busy with the holiday washing and ironing today so pleased to sit for a bit.
Glad to hear more offers of help on have annie. Let’s hope it all gets put into action. The puppy is doing well thanks for asking but is growing, bigger and bigger. Very lovely though.
rafinchagran I am so sorry you have such pain. Will the outcome of the MRI scan help some action to be taken to help you?
nonnie hope your troubles are resolved soon. Sometimes things just build up and overwhelm us. I had some of those periods last year and it takes the joy out of life. Hope you feel better soon.

I have had a walk today with my four legged friend onto the fields, it was nice to have some fresh air and watch the naughty little man climb walls and run around.

rafinchagran any news on the MRI scan, constant pain brings low spirits with it and lack of sleep x

lavenderzen a long walk with your dog, I dream of this, I so
miss going for walks. I look from my bungalow at the mountains and think ‘did I really walk there’, yep I did. x

Few more weeks and then - first day of Spring ,

Hello all. I hope you've all been as well as you can be today. It was lovely to see the sunshine.

I got my hair cut (short). In 3 weeks I've gone from having mid-length, (dyed) black hair, to having collar-length blonde!

Not long now until we get light evenings

I am still waiting for a call from the hospital Annie the GP on our area cannot refer straight away any more. I have to wait for a phone call from the hospital department. Apparently GP are referring to many people so the process is now long winded.
Felt sorry for the GP as she said she could see I was in pain and she would have referred me straight away

When are you going out on Fred Annie do you have a date yet?

It is cheerful Joce I hope it made you feel a bit better. Sometimes the smell on the garden can lift my spirits especially in Autumn.

Hope to have Fred on the road in April.

Had blood tests results yesterday, a deficiency in vitamin D,
have to speak to GP Monday. Perhaps it explains muscle
weakness and falling asleep every afternoon !

Wales playing England this afternoon, David is on back of
sofa ready. I must remember not to squeeze his petals, or twist
his little legs , fear during the Six Nations he is a physically
abused daffodil.

Anniebach....they say blondes have more fun - I'm waiting Your GP may give you a Vitamin D pill then. I used to go to a lot of people, when I worked as a carer, who were deficient in vitamin D, due to being indoors. I hope you get Fred on the road and get out for some sunshine soon.

How has everyone been today? I've been quite lazy - did 3 lots of washing and drying, washed the car. That's it

Don’t often post on this important thread but do follow the various stories with interest and sympathy. Just wanted to say how very glad I am that Annie is getting some much needed support at long last. We look forward to her future adventures as she is able to do more.
