I have Sciatica at the moment, and feel down and depressed at times but not all the time, in a funny way spending time thinking what to do to control the pain takes away the gloomy feelings. Odd I know.

Not at all the same thing I know joce but could you perhaps book a weekend break with you grandchildren when they get back. Somewhere where you could have fun together. Might be nice to have something after they get back. So sorry you have been so let down.

Eilyann thank you, yes we have been in contacts with Disney the lady said that they have so many they keep for Americans.. that is the only one they have, probably because of the price I think it is a lot.. hay ho

Joce have you tried ringing the hotel direct? They don't always give all their rooms to the tour operators. Worth a phone call.
Annie it's a matter of 'You Must' . Having lost a LOT of weight and not being able to keep even water down ..... Getting better now though! Onward and upward!

Hi all, Doodle yes we will get our money back. There is no room anywhere in Disney now every place if full, the only one available is £10,000 bit much so that’s out..
got to stop getting upset about it now, it’s just it would be the last time we would may be go with them..
just get back into a bit of sewing daughter want a wigwam dogs bed making so think I will have a go at that keep busy.

Hello annie. Busy morning for me. Been cleaning taps. We have the plumber coming to look at our sink which is starting to smell. Think there may be a blockage somewhere. Couldn’t let him see the taps in the state they were so be cleaning like mad ?. We live in a hard water area and limescale is a continuous problem.
joce I do hope you get your money back. I think you have been treated appallingly. Is there any other company you can try to see if they have a room for you?

Doodle yes payed them both. They just said they were sorry but the room they side was there isn’t. But TUI were so disgusted with how Virgin had treated us but then did the same 6 days after.. my grandkids are so upset...

I’m not surprised you feel like a rant joce that is so unacceptable. Did you pay them both money? Did they give you any reason for their deception? I think it’s very bad of them both to do such a thing. If you can’t write why not phone and see if you can get some answers that way.

Doodle that’s two different holiday companies that have done the same thing, I just don’t understand how they can do it.. to let us book it Saturday and then tell us today that there is no hotel, that can never be right. My husband was in the shop waiting to get the booking reference number, when someone in the same shop was phoning me at home to say we hadn’t got hotel room ... I wish I could right a good letter I would be complaining to TUI and Virgin, but sadly I am no good at letter writing. Sorry for the rant..

Dawn yes I am very for snowdrops, a tiny bunch helped me
to recover when I was in a psychiatric unit, grief and eating
disorder, I was given a tiny bunch a friend dug out of snow,
I looked at these fragile little flowers and thought it you can do it so can I, and I did x

Hello everyone
Just to say that I bought and planted some snowdrops today. I meant for them to grow in the ground and them come up around February but l was too late for that. But hopefully these little things will blossom and come up in my rockery just at my front door. Not really a gardener but l love flowers.

Annie l remember you saying that if snowdrops can keep regenerating then we all can (or thoughts to that effect). Lovely to remember that. Talk soon.

Haven't been on for a while , have hit some sticky patches - physical -resulting in a blue light dash and a week in hospital. However I am home now and being force fed to try and get some weight on ! At this rate I'll be too heavy for take - off!
