I don’t have to use fixatives , I kept getting mine adjusted till the dentist was satisfied with the fit

Fixadent is very good.

nina, I think they have to be applied to a dry denture then pressed into place.
Wernets is a powder to sprinkle, others are a gel in a tube or sticky strips.

When I had my new ones the dentist recommended a little Fixodent for security. I've used it since.

Fixadent is good but only use a little.

I presume you just mix with water ?

My mother always used Dr Wernet's powder, and my father Fixadent Plus. Both did a good job.

If dentures are well fitted you shouldn’t really need a fixative.

Dh always recommended Wernets powder!

I'm pretty sure this has been asked before but which would you reccomend please ?
It's for a full plate, not for me, it's for SiL. He's always had bad teeth, had several missing and has now given up and had them all out.
