In my opinion all natural/herbal remedies only really work when taken exclusively, not in combination with synthetic drugs. And they have to be taken for sometime before results show.

I take various medications so would need to ask gp re interactions when I next see her for a review. I seldom go to gp other than for medication reviews and I certainly wouldn’t dream of wasting an appointment just fir a dietry dad.

No! Please consider docs have patients who are actually ill and dying, and have little enough time for those. Your dietary fads are a case for Dr Google and common sense.

My husband started taking turmeric, unfortunately it affected his medication and he became very unwell, so do be careful.

I use it when I cook as often as I can, it really does make a difference. What shocked me the most is its effect on my state of mind. It helps me feel more positive and upkeep a good sense of spirit.

Yes for arthritis - make ''golden paste'' - 1 cup organic turmeric

Not wanting to rely on anti-inflammatories, or any drugs if avoidable, I now take daily Curcumin - with black pepper - from Holland & Barrett to combat inflammation in my hip. After a couple of weeks I noticed a real difference and wouldn't be without it now. More recently I have added Glucosamine with Chondroitin and this is really helping my joints. I am able to go on long dog walks and cope with uneven ground again. Have friends who, like me, can thoroughly recommend.

We had some tablets which we intended to take but when we looked into any problems/or conditions/medication it should not be taken with we found neither of us were suitable - most disappointing.

I have a turmeric latte every day. I have AMD and the curcumin in turmeric is beneficial for the eyes.

Very much so. If I forget the tabs or cook without it for a few days. I know about it!
The powder for cooking is the cheapest way to go.You do not need to be fancy with it; just stir into your baked beans or bubble and squeak.
