What do we do if we catch 'it'

There's plenty of advice about how NOT to catch this illness, but the way things are going it rather looks as though they expect most people in our age group to actually go down with the illness, and that some of us will die.
BUT where is the advice about what to do if we do succumb and have the dreaded dry cough and temperature?

self isolate - (most of us are already doing that)
Wash hands (ditto)
Drink water (ditto)
Get food delivered and left outside the door - how, when we can't get a delivery date within the next fortnight? We possibly won't be hungry anyway, so perhaps that's not relevant.

No doctor will visit, we might get a mild illness but we may also get a severe illness that will kill us.

How do we treat ourselves and our loved ones? There's no advice out there.

If your symptoms don’t go after 7 days or get worse phone 111 for advice. That is the advice at present.

There is masses of advice out there if you think you have caught it. Here are a few reliable sites.

Allow time for getting through to 111. At midnight, there was a 30 minute wait! If very ill, call 999.

I've been drinking lots of water and taking paracetamol. DH has been taking my temperature every couple of hours. You need to eat although it all tastes awful. Food is fuel and your body needs it to recover. I've found something sharp like a good marmalade, or something like tinned fruit has been ok. Generally you have to accept that you're not well but that you will get over it. Be kind to yourself, rest and keep hydrated.

The resting and drinking are vital.

Small sips every few minutes are better than a glassful every few hours.

Rest is important to allow the body to fight and recover.

Lots of sleep if you can.

Paracetamol if your temperature is high, perhaps a few snacks when it isn't.

Oh dear RosieB have you actually GOT it? Don't answer if you don't want to - but how old are you, and what is your general health like normally?
I assume you've been told to treat it much as you would a dose of 'flu - paracetamols and fluid? I do hope you soon feel better. And do we assume that once you've recovered you will be a 'super person' and able to come and go as you please?
Take care of yourself and your lovely DH.
