Well we have reached another 1000 posts so time for another thread. Welcome.

Nonnie Tue 30-Jun-20 10:07:06

Good morning. Great to hear about the health improvements. Please keep updating us. I will keep praying.

I went into town yesterday!!!! Bought myself a hair colour and some knickers. I avoided looking at any of the sales and told myself it was not safe to go into those shops. I was pleasantly surprised about how well everyone kept their distance but thought masks should have been worn more. It was a bit weird smiling at people and realising they couldn't see it!

Walked home, takes about 40 minutes briskly. So glad I did, realised how much I have missed it. Next step will be meeting up with people.

Enjoy your day all.

Hi all x

How is everyone ? Joyce is the little one taking the anti biotics now x

Last week the temperature in my living room was 30 when we had the sunshine, today it’s 20. Is it Karma? I had a letter last
week from a firm who has a contract with the council re annual gas check, they bleed the radiatord etc,

I said ‘no, I am in isolation , and will not be using central heating until end of summer - put heating on this morning !

lavenderzen Mon 29-Jun-20 11:10:53

How are things Joyce, hope little one is improving. In my thoughts xx

Nonnie Mon 29-Jun-20 10:14:54

Joce is she being sick apart from the meds? How was she last night? I read that we heal when we are asleep.

Praying for her.

Doodle Sun 28-Jun-20 22:33:45

joce hope the new method works and the little one is better soon. Take care.x

Joce345 Sun 28-Jun-20 22:17:37

Thank you all.. back up to the hospital again tonight with little one, could not keep the meds down no matter what they tried.. the doc got in touch with the professor, it is the med they think that’s making her sick, advice them to try a different way of giving it, so fingers crossed.. they don’t want to keep her in wi Covid.. better at home I think... if she is still being sick tomorrow they have to go back I do hope they have a better night with her bless her... thank you all for your help...

Hope everyone has a peaceful night ? sleep x

Doodle Sun 28-Jun-20 20:36:44

joce I would certainly phone the doctor when you can and see if it comes in another form. Asannie says, the most important thing is that she has the antibiotics.
lavender that’s a good idea with the ice cream. Not thought of that. Or perhaps a chocolate follow up.
annie I am ok. Bit worried about DHs feet which have taken it upon themselves to swell up and go very red. He has see the Gp as it often happens. He has claudication and the blood doesn’t circulate as it should. A walk is defiantly the cards tomorrow as we have a booked slot at the local NT.
nonnie rafichagran* how are you?
Take care all x

Joce345 Sun 28-Jun-20 17:18:43

lavender thank you, told mum she’s going to try her.
Anything to get it down her, it’s the best one for her to have, it’s really horrible poor little bit..

lavenderzen Sun 28-Jun-20 13:33:17

Joyce will it mix in ice cream, a little from the top of a cornetto and then say that she can have the whole thing when that bits gone. What a dilema for her mum. Wishing you well.

Joce345 Sun 28-Jun-20 13:04:38

Thank you Nonnie Annie, she just sick as soon has she has it.
Tried it in drinks yogurt but know straight back up
thinking mat be beat to get in touch with doctor very hard with being as is... can’t phone the hospital no one to talk to...
thank you all.

Anniebach Sun 28-Jun-20 12:29:57

Hi all x

Agree with nonnie, bribery, I would try anything , what matters is the little mite needs the antibiotics

How is everyone ?

Nonnie Sun 28-Jun-20 12:14:54

Oh Joce I don't know, either force it on her - horrible or bribery? Yes, I know we shouldn't bribe children but at 4 she can weigh up whether it is worth taking it for whatever is on offer. Fine having principles about this but she needs to take it.

Joce345 Sun 28-Jun-20 10:00:10

Morning all need some help... my granddaughter is 4 years old needs to take antibiotics, they taste horrible really bad, she will not have them in drinks can still taste it.. if she doesn’t take it has to go in and have it intravenously and ideas how to get it down her... thank you all

Nonnie Sun 28-Jun-20 09:50:53

How are the little ones?

Any news on the nurse.

Don' know what to do today, too windy to hack down hedges as planned. I feel some list writing coming on.

lavenderzen Sat 27-Jun-20 22:55:03

Thinking of you all. The poorly grandchildren are in my prayers tonight crazy and Joyce.
Hope you are ok Annie.

rafichagran Sat 27-Jun-20 22:45:44

Anniebach Sat 27-Jun-20 12:11:31

Hi all x

Joyce. crazyH x x

Nonnie Sat 27-Jun-20 10:35:33

rafichagran yes, it is those things which make it all worthwhile. Video call yesterday from GS thanking me for something I sent and I could hear little brother in the background thanking me as well but I hadn't sent him anything! Lots of chat about what he wants to do when he comes here but we don't know when that will be.

joce how worrying, hope it gets sorted soon.

crazyH that is awful, I hope it is not that but, if it is, it can be treated quickly.

Quite clammy today but the rain has started so should improve soon.
