I posted as usual this morning ! I said I had a few things to do,

Spent hours speaking to HMRC, the accountant, my brother,
was on telephone for hours.

Not washed bottles, and all is quiet next door Doodle x

joce yes if only we could all not only read it but follow it too! Seeing your gd must have been a mixed blessing. Mine were expecting to come here for a holiday in April and then a big all family holiday in July, all cancelled. Unlikely we will ever get the family holiday because some have fixed holidays which will probably never coincide again.

why just hang in there and take all the support from your friend and everyone here. You have a plan, just keep reminding yourself that the end of the tunnel is there.

Lavender your heart must have been in your mouth when you got that phone call. I'm imagining the relief when you heard she had a sprained ankle. Normally that would be something to be concerned about.

Thanks for all the support. If anyone feels they can pray for us it is tomorrow at 1000. This is not the big one but is still important.

Positive? Sun came out briefly this morning. DS came round yesterday, side entrance and then to the compost bin to take some for his vegetables. We chatted across the garden. I do miss them coming round for the evening but know it is for the best. Glad they are keeping themselves busy as no chance of them going back to work soon. Their company has been very good and kept in touch. Not everyone is as fortunate.

lavender sorry to hear about your DGDs fall. At least you know she’s back home now. Thank goodness it’s only sprained. Painful but not as troublesome as a broken ankle.
Good news about the woman not testing positive. Must be a relief for all concerned.

When I got back from seeing grandkids all I did was cry, then I thought how must she have felt poor little bit, they cannot possibly get there little heads round it all, she still say to her brother who is 6 and cry's to hug Grandad, it ok when the shops open we can go to Grans don’t cry...
so really I must stay strong for them but it’s sooo hard you all no how it feels

How are things with everyone: Joyce your mention of your lovely little granddaughter brought tears to my eyes. Things are moving on, you will see her and hold her soon.

The ups and down we are all feeling are hard for us all. Nonnie sorry things were cancelled for you. Doodle hope you are doing ok.

It was a funny day here, firstly heard that the lady who had a test for the virus was negative, where my daughter is, so that was good news. Next having a walk down the lane, the phone rang and it was *Nan its only me, I'm in hospital" - I nearly dropped the phone. Anyway to cut a long story short granddaughter had fallen downstairs and sprained her ankle. Home now with crutches, me being me "make sure you wash your hands thoroughly, at least twice when you get back". Anyway all ok now she is home with her leg elevated! Bless her, I love her.

why I’m not sure what I can say about your husband other than as he is aware you are moving out, I wonder if he’s trying to move on himself, although I doubt a young mum is the right direction unless it was just passing the time of day.
Sorry we can’t be more help. You are obviously very low. Have you been in touch with the GP at all. Things are opening up a bit now why. Just hold on a bit longer

Hi all, sorry not posted for a couple of days as I have been so down, crying etc. The husband seems to be chatting up one of the young single mums in our street every day. I am trying not to look out of the window right now as he is just getting on my wick. I dont care about him at all but I find this behaviour a step too far. He will be bringing them into the house next! In which case I will phone the police. Already he has been to other peoples houses in the street, so he says. I wish I was away from here as I hate him and he hates me. My friend says as soon as this lock down is completely over and I am safe to move then I have to go to hers. Most of my stuff is packed and ready to go. I have some furniture and a friend is going to help me with the hire van as I couldn’t shift the stuff or drive the van myself. Yes better days are ahead - it is just so hard to get through these final days. I should have got a move on and got moved out as planned before the lock down. Hind sight! Stay safe and sane and please send me virtual hugs. This life is so hard - right now but it will get better. X

I think it must be easier for those in Wales, Scotland and NI. Being told what to do is far less confusing than we have in England. Imo it would have been wiser to wait and see how the other countries, which experienced the outbreak before us, cope with their loosening of the regulations before making any decisions here. DH and I are still locking down.

nonnie. Oh no, I held you in my thoughts all yesterday morning, but you coped with the cancellation, that is a
positive.

I too don’t have to make the decisions you listed, I have been in a bubble for over 3 years , the thought of being faced with
those decisions must be so stressful, even fearful.

We are still in lockdown in Wales.

Thanks Doodle we got all ready, especially mentally and then, at the time it should have happened, got a call to say postponed until Thursday! I'm coping with that better than I would have expected. Seem to be accepting at the moment, hope it lasts.

My focus today seems to be on all those people who don't know whether to go back to work, stay in, go out, travel on public transport etc. I am so fortunate that I don't need to worry about all those things and that my family are OK at the moment. They don't have job security in this difficult time but are OK so far.

I think I am living in a bubble and that it will all hit me at some point. Perhaps not?

Wish I had something helpful to say to you all but sometimes we just have to keep on keeping on.

I have a new pillow to try out tonight. I will either sleep well or be tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable. It is supposed to help my neck so we will see.

annie I hope that decision has given you comfort. Of course you can always change your mind at some point in the future if you wish to.

I listen to the afternoon plays on the radio and sometimes lose myself in them. The last two Sundays I have been in Bandings. R4 extra can take us back to some very old times, Navy Lark etc.

We have some very important business to attend to this morning, should be in person but going to do it by phone. It could make a significant change to our lives. Feeling much calmer about it than I thought I would be.

I think being in lock down has made me focus more on what I can do and what I can't. Knowing we are all in the same boat somehow makes it easier to cope, it is when I have to deal with problems alone that I find it harder.

I pray for you all in my simple way.

Aww Ann, lavender my heart goes out to you and your grand daughter/ daughter, it has got to be the worst thing about all this horrible time we are in, missing our family’s.
I keep getting some really bad down times.
