Ear popping loudly when sleeping

I’ve no cold symptoms and can’t understand why the popping shakes me out of my sleep ?

I have blocked sinuses and my ears pop as the gunge moves.

My ears do that. It doesn't wake me up though. I have narrow ear canals and the wax builds up . They pop when they need cleaning.
Perhaps it's wax build up.
A visit to the GP or Practice Nurse will tell you.

In the last 10 days I’ve been woken out of my sleep with a start because of my left ear popping so loudly. It actually makes me cry out in alarm! It’s not the ear I’m sleeping on.
Has anyone else experienced this?
