My daughter's MIL lives nearby and is a widow in her 80s. Naturally my daughter invited her over to stay as soon as was allowed this weekend. I dont think DD2 realises she now cant have us to visit when its allowed.

A lot of people don't seem to understand this! I know of several people who have interpreted the bubble concept to mean that they can visit several different households as they themselves live alone.

You can go to DD2 for a garden visit.

When it’s allowed ? Surely at that point all can visit. No idea when that will be.

Unfortunately DD2 lives too far away for a day visit but we hope perhaps to arrange a half way open garden or something. I really dont begrudge her MIL visiting she lives alone but she has a daughter and another son nearby where she will probably go as well! Just have to be patient and have another large gin or several!

I still haven’t seen any of my 4 grand children as they are certain that one of us will get ill from the virus.
