Oh TrendyNannie6 I've been on the hunt for one of these for ages and still haven't managed to find a comfortable one! All the ones with bands underneath just seem to roll up uncomfortably underneath my boobs. It seems that you either have wires or bands, neither of which is comfortable. I went into Debenhams a while ago with the intention of being measured properly and hopefully getting some advice, but bottled it as I couldn't find a friendly looking assistant! I'm currently sitting here bra less after slinging it off after this mornings dog walk! I read somewhere it doesn't make your boobs sag, it trains your muscles to hold them up, so I'm going with that! Kircubbin2000 could you be more specific please? I did see an advert for 'The most comfortable bra ever' and I think it was from M&S but I couldn't find the one they meant when I searched.

I like Miss Mary, online and fairly pricey but fit beautifully and last well.

Hi Trendynannie I have found these to be really comfortable, the ones I have are front fastening and have a wide back:

Royce Women's Comfy Bra - they are £30 on A****n - are the exact ones I have.

I have found the ones I have on the website:;chest_size:36__8;cup_size:B%2FC__18

I bought a couple of sports bras online from Amazon and they are comfortable but do not give as good a shape as the underwired bra.

I miss BHS! I went to M&S and was measured. The lady said I was wearing the wrong size (40b) and should be wearing 38c. I bought some and they are not comfortable. I want more BHS 40b bras. Surely someone is still making them?

I want to stop wearing underwired bras so I bought this one
It's so comfy, I'm going to replace all my old ones!

I buy these and take the side wires out. They are then extremely comfortable, forget I am wearing them, and have had many compliments on the supported shape! grin

I have a couple of Bestform non wired bras and they are very comfortable.

I seem to have accumulated several with underwiring on one side only.

I keep them with the odd socks just in case the washing machine ever yields up its mysteries.

You can buy spares though - make sure you stitch the end securely though.

I loathe underwired bras.

I'd unpick the tiny piece of material where the torturous wire was and slide it out

I was told years ago that correct way to measure is:measure the line directly underneath the boobs, on the ribs if you like, then measure the fullest line around boobs.
Take the least line (lower) measurement away from the highest(top) measurement.then for each inch difference = one cup size. So lower measures say 38 inches and fullest measures 42inches your size is a 38D.and so on.ive used this when I couldn't find a decent corsetiere (bra shop) and seems to be ok.if anyone has another method I'm all ears!

Costco sells Splendid brand.
Highly recommend it.

Be careful when replacing wires in bras. I was injured by a wire coming loose and ended up with mastitis. It was horrible, I have never felt so ill.
