Fluoxetine

Can anyone tell me if I increase my dose of fluoxetine whether I will suffer the original side effects again. I feel I need to up the dose to cope with the anxiety of hot flushes etc but don’t want to go through the side effects I had when I first started them?

Gwenisgreat1 I wouldn’t, but more often than not the drs don’t tell you anything about the side effects. Would just like to hear from someone who has upped their dose and what happened

Are you being given these for hot flushes? as i believe some Drs do prescribe them instead of HRT
What side effects do you have
Just wondering as i have just been prescribed these too

No, you won't. But on the other hand, I found little difference at all in how I felt when I upped to 40g from 20. I went back to 20g.
