Brilliant news Graygirl, you must be very relieved. My DH is almost 5 years post chemo and my DD2 has just started her journey, 5 years of checks to come.

What lovely news! I’m stuck in a Covid limbo at the moment, really hope I can get discharged sometime soon.

Great news Graygirl my DD2 had cancer when she was 25, after a major op she is now 22 years clear, but I still worry about her if she feels unwell.

What a great feeling that must be! I am 6 years post discharge and it is wonderful to be reminded of how well I am now following a life-time of hospital and consultant care. Getting old is great!

Congratulations gray girl. That must be some sort of record.
My dd has had cancer and she is still seeing doctors and having tests frequently over 4 years later. I long for her to be told she is clear. More patience required.
Really pleased for you. Celebrate! flowers smilewine

Had a cancer a few years ago never been hospital free , longest gap between appointments 3 years moved country took that time to set everything up. For last 5 years ultrasound twice a year couple of times followed by mri ,saw consultant every 12 months never register, saw him 10 days ago discharge letter today.
Sounds OK hears the kicker, last surgery 9th June 1981 taken nearly 40 years to get this far as survival rate was very low ,I know I'm written up in a paper or 2 its made me feel a bit strange
