I had hip done and found support tights difficult I bought tights from www.loveleggings.com. They are good tights in different colours sizes and deniers easy to get on but not baggy. I have arthritis in my hands so there easy for me to wear.

Oh MelanieG. I feel your pain ?
I like to wear support tights sometimes, but cannot cope with them all the time, for the reasons you give in your post.
I found Boots own make, Light Support XL, the most comfortable for me. But, due to age and ill health, my legs are now much bigger, and the people who make tights, do not seem to consider that you need more width but not necessarily length.
Hope we get some good suggestions on here.

I wear compression knee highs for swelling ankles as I live in jeans and trousers and like you, found the daily workout of getting a pair of support tights on left me exhausted!
I buy Scholl from the long river company and (in winter) can pop a pair of black or navy knee highs over them, unless wearing boots, to disguise that unmistakeable “beige” !

I have worn support tights for many years following on from my first pregnancy and I usually buy them from Boots or Marks and Spencer. (I’m assuming that they sell them because
lots of people buy them).
However recently due to frozen shoulder/arthritis problems I’m finding it’s a bit of an ordeal putting them on plus they constantly need pulling up (along with my trousers when the crotch of the tights affects them too).
How do other people cope?
