Perhaps just rely on the medical experts for knowledge of your condition.

Attended chest clinic today, unfortunately there wasn't sufficient fluid for the camera to be inserted safely.Another appointment for mid July. Consultants still puzzled, heart and lung consultants to be shown the details.

No EV,tested and retested for Covid .No heart or kidney problems. 67 years type 1 diabetic.Every question I was asked my answer was No. Consultants( respiratory and chest) are puzzled and freely admit it.

Have you had the Covid virus at all ? I ask because it can occur after pneumonia or some sort of an infection.
I haven't, personally but have looked after patients who've had this procedure.

Any heart or kidney problems ?

Has anyone any experience of this ? I have been rushed to A &E three times recently. Twice very breathless and admitted to respiratory ward for a week or longer.Twice 1100 ml of fluid has been withdrawn.,which stops the breathlessness. I am due in this week for a Thoracoscopy which involves a camera being inserted.I wonder if any other GN's have experienced similar. Many thanks
