Misinformation about covid is so sad because it costs lives

*Echo chamber... (Their online chat groups for anti vaccine and conspiracy theories etc)

I have a friend who is unvaccinated - along with her entire family. She says it's 'unnatural' and we don't know the future consequences in, maybe, ten year's time. She also says that she can't risk making a decision that she'll regret later.

I have tried (and tried) to talk to her, but she's convinced that people are dying from the vaccine. Amazing, isn't it, how people can believe what suits them? I've said that 'making a decision' can't be avoided. After all, she's decided not to have the vaccine. I give up, I really do!

Nobody can help them Hetty if they refuse to help themselves.
I have no sympathy for anyone who refuses to have the vaccine ( unless their health problems mean that they physically can’t have it) when they go on to become ill because of their choice.
But that’s what it is, stupid, but their own decision.

I almost wish I didn't have the vaccine if this is the kind of people we are sharing air space with. There is so much hate, so much confusion, so much division and a lot of things that are happening are not reported.
The rally in Parliament square where a speaker mentioned the Nuremburg trials and demanded that our Dr's and nurses are hanged, for example. What kind of world are we living in that this is even allowed to happen?
