hearing loss

Hi my issue is with hearing loss, have spent a huge amount of money on aids, but still have problems .
would any of you good people have any good advice.

When you say you’ve spent a huge amount of money on aids do you mean through one of those private firms who advertise in magazines etc?

Hearing loss can be caused by a number of different things and
standard aids will not always help.

See your GP and ask for a referral to a trained audiologist who will diagnose the exact problem and recommend appropriate treatment.

Having said that sometimes it just can’t be treated and we have to learn to live with it and take other steps like learning to lip read, using the subtitles and being a bit assertive about what we need from the hearing ?
