Has anybody on here had Cranial Palsy. My DiL has palsy of the 3rd Cranial nerve. She has previously had Bell's Palsy and recovered so I don't know if this is linked.

I've had Bells palsy twice, and recovered both times after a few weeks.
At the time, the cause was given as a dormant virus affecting the facial nerve. Not sure that this the same as cranial palsy.
Although the paralysis went eventually, my skin on that side of my face has lost some elasticity. I've also, recently developed facial neuralgia on the same side of my face, and wonder if that's connected.

Does she have high blood pressure dragonfly? I had damage to my vision because of hypertension. Mine improved after the blood pressure was controlled and the pressure on the nerve was eased, but the physical damage caused by the haemorrhages and aneurysm won’t go away. As I understand it, if they can find and treat the root cause then there is a good chance it will recover. Hope this turns out to be the case.

Thank you for your replies. They are worried it was caused by the Moderna vaccine but of course they don’t know. She doesn’t have high blood pressure.
