As most of you are aware there's a Just Giving appeal for one of our own -
Soop. I know many have contributed but wonder if others are just flipping past the 'Grade four rectal prolapse' thread.
There's less than £1500 till target. I wonder if some of you who have had to cancel meals and drinks out would consider contributing what you might have had to pay for those to Soop's fund? She has an awful condition and her situation is complex. Please Grans, think of contributing. sunshine

Go Fund Me - search Soop - it’s the first one that comes up.
AC are Soop’s initials
Soop needs less than £1000 more to reach her target!

Lizzie thanks for the link. I've tried all the other suggested methods from this thread and the original one and they didn't work.

Put my bit in, hope you get the treatment you need. flowers

Gransnet doesn’t allow posting of links to GoFundMe pages Lizzie72 as GNHQ mentioned in the original thread, so I think you’ll probably find it removed soon.

Justwidowed Sun 19-Dec-21 21:13:41

Thanks Lizzie72 for the link.I'd tried many times but couldn't get on the right page.I won £25 on Ernie this month so have donated the same.Hope you reach the £15000 by the end of the year.

Sweetpeasue Sun 19-Dec-21 20:24:54

I'm so glad I managed to get on the Go Fund Me details just now, having tried unsuccessfully before.
All our best wishes for your op Soop.

Millie22 Sun 19-Dec-21 20:18:04

I'd skipped by that as it's not something I'd normally look at. Wishing soop well from Mr M and me. I'll check out the link.

GrannyGravy13 Sun 19-Dec-21 20:10:55

Let’s help soop reach her target ??

Aveline Sun 19-Dec-21 19:56:40

Auntieflo I blew it by getting the name of the donation site wrong. Thank goodness pittcity put in the right one.
I see there has been a big flurry of donations! Brilliant. Grans to the rescue as well as Soop's intrepid family!

Auntieflo Sun 19-Dec-21 19:11:05

Aveline, many thanks for making this a clear route to the fundraising.
I donated as soon as I heard of it, and am so pleased that it is doing so well for Soop.

Lucca Sun 19-Dec-21 18:39:11

Done. Really hope this gets her the treatment she needs and deserves. I wonder if the title if this thread should be even clearer ? Eg Soop needs your help ?
