Detached ligament in shoulder

Thanks for replies. I’ll see what the surgeon has to say. Wonder how long I’ll have to wait for appointment ?

glammanannathat sounds awful - so painful and difficult to live with.
Suzie - eldest son had that problem. He had the operation and seems fine now. I had similar and left it, with limited range of movement. no pain now though.

I had a displaced Rotary Cuff joint quite a few years ago which was so painful, to make matters worse I then fell on that shoulder and shattered the shoulder joint completely the surgeon I saw said it was not in my best interests to have a replacement shoulder joint as it was so badly damaged and surgery would not make any difference.
I have lived with the discomfort ever since it has weakened my right arm and now I cannot use it to its full potential,I can still feel the bits of bone in my upper arm & shoulder area but have learnt to live with the discomfort.

Any one else had this? After a scan I’m being referred to a surgeon. Has been very painful for 3 months but I thought it was getting better
