Changing surgeries in the nhs

I recently filled in an online form asking to change my GP surgery to another in the town. (My reasons are a short saga and I'll go into them at a later date)
The following day I received an email from my current practise saying I had been removed from their data base, and another saying they were no longer responsible for my health care.
But I have not been informed whether my preferred new surgery has accepted me so am currently no longer on any NHS doctor's list.
How long does this procedure usually take?

You have been deducted from your previous gp practice list as you are now a patient at your new practice ( new practice will have requested your records as such) ...very much doubt they will inform you in this day and age

It will take a couple of weeks, I’m sure.
I really do hope they accept you as a patient. They can refuse to accept you if their list is full, or you live out of their catchment area.
There are private GPs as well, but I don’t know how much they charge. Good luck !

If shes been deducted from her previous gp thats because the new one has requested her record ....asper my previous post ....why the scaremongering?????‍♀️
