shysal

I am told that Snowfire ointment can help.

A friend has had painful chilblain-like problems after each Covid vaccination, but possibly a coincidence.

There is something called ‘Covid toe’, it’s a chilblain like symptom on the toes, if you have contracted Covid.
Very painful, it happened to me and everyone I told thought I was joking! Google it.

I used to suffer dreadfully from them right up until my 30s/40s. The recommendation back then was to put your feet in very hot water for a few minutes and then into very cold water for a few minutes. The idea being, I suppose, that it revved up your circulation.

I remember these as a child! Not heard of them recently.

I had problems with chilblains some years ago. I used a homeopathic tablet - Apis Mel, I think. Not normally into homeopathy but it was the only thing that worked.

I used to suffer from them in the past (long ago).
I think they are basically due to poor cicualtion in the feet in cold weather. Cold wet feet in winter.
When we were able to buy warm fur lined boots the problem stopped.
We used something called Grasshopper Ointment. It was green.
i remember Snowfire too.
