Varicose veins, getting them treated! Any experience?

I had mine done years ago and was very pleased with the result. However, I subsequently had 2 more children and they returned - different ones as first ones had been stripped out.

However, though they don't look great, they don't give me any trouble or ache, as they did before having them done.

I'd recommend getting done, even if privately.

I have them too and I agree that it is really difficult in this hot weather. GP isn't interested so if you can afford to pay for private treatment then I would go for it.
Good luck and enjoy choosing your new shorts

TBH I'm rather fed up of trying to hide the unsightly veins on my legs and this warm weather has me wanting to wear shorts again in public, not just in the garden. I've been looking at a number of different private places and the "before and after" pics look quite promising. I don't have a dreadful problem but it's enough to make me feel self conscious and I can afford to have the treatment. Please can you share your experiences if you have had them treated.
