So tired is it just the weather?

I'm only early sixties, and usually very fit and active, but I've had a few daytime naps this week too, which is most unusual for me.

In my case, I have come up with two possible explanations:

1. I've probably slept even more badly than usual at night, because of the heat.

2. I was unwell last week, with cold/covid-type symptoms.
In all, I did three covid tests, and they were all negative, so I have to assume it was a cold. Either way, it's possible that this mild illness has left me more drained than normal

I’m 74 and I’ve not had COVID unless without any symptoms at all I guess it could be that it’s just so unlike me. I suppose I’ll worry if it doesn’t pass after the heatwave.

I'm shattered after covid and finding it hard to look after my husband who has what the doc says is Post Covid Diarrhoea. Its truly horrible and he's so weak he can hardly get himself to the bathroom and 'accidents' are an everyday problem.
Could you have had non-symptomatic covid and this is your individual after effect?
Difficult to say if its age related without knowing your age.
I'm 83 and think I entered Old Age in my mid 70s.

A bit of both I would think or have you had covid recently....I have and my only symptom was fatigue....I'm still tired 3 weeks later....

I never nap but this last week I've napped during the day so unlike me I've always got plenty of energy. Is it just the heat or a sign I'm just getting old?
