Well, Drina01, like your doctor I have never heard of it!
I hope you start feeling better soon, and I'll be watching this thread to find out more. (If I go off to Google it I'll forget what I was doing, again, like walking out of one room to the other).
Take care!

I have been diagnosed with this rare inflammation which was found on a routine CT scan as the GP thought I was in so much pain from kidney stones or similar inflammation. She has never come across it before and is in discussion with the hospital as to what to do about it. I’ve been in pain (mostly left back flank and groin pain) for around 4 weeks and take paracetamol and ibruprofen to control it. Really wondering if anyone else has come across this ? Am 69 and usually fit though I have had a bout of Covid prior. Fatigue is a big thing if I’ve been active (well active means just doing what I normally do like drive 30 miles to look after GC after school etc 2 days week and work 3 days - though work is out the question).
