Colonoscopy After effects

Had 2nd one 7wks ago and now have a flare up of diverticulitis..cramping/spasms and insane itching around anus-spoke with GP some days ago and he prescribed Unirod suppositories-they keep falling out as not very bendy and would like to know if there is a gadget that you can use to help facilitate the pushing up! Happy Sunday ?

I’m sorry you’re having such awful after effects. If you Google ‘Suppository applicator’ you should find what you need.

Yes there are suppository applicators

Also doing it in bed before sleep, lying on your side with your arm behind you might help fight gravity

Could try some prebiotics, worked well for me after I flushed my good bacteria out with that awful drink before a colonoscopy

Yes the night time one stays much longer...and bending knees up ..thanks for the applicator tip...will check this out...blush
