A few months ago I started taking CBD drops (cannabis without the high) which helped me sleep. I easily fall to sleep but keep waking in the night and the drops helped me to go back to sleep quickly. Well I think my body has got used to the drops and I am back to my old pattern and often I get up at 03.00 to make a cuppa and read for an hour, not a good idea.

Do any of you use Nytol ? I’ve looked on line and they have different varieties.

My new Fitbit tells me more than I want to know about my sleep pattern which was deteriorating. Being bored I decided to follow their directions to improve my sleep. Blow me down it worked! This isn't an advert btw. The detailed analysis of every aspect of my sleep was surprising and interesting. I'd really rather not know sometimes as it can be addictive to check!
Not helpful for you NanKate I'm afraid though. Good luck though.

I’ve popped 2 Nytol tablets for years. Very rarely let’s me down.

I sometimes take Nytol (the one a night which contains diphenhydramine). Sometimes half a one is enough to make me drowsy, a whole one definitely does, but I don’t think they stop you waking in the night. Otherwise I take Kalms one a night (valerian root) which helps a bit.
