If you've used this type of thing I'd love to hear how got on with it.
I have a mild prolapse & need to do pelvic floor exercises, my main problem with exercising is that I often use the wrong muscles as I seem to be unable to 'locate' the correct ones!

There is an old GN thread about this here

Thank you. I did look on old threads but couldn't see anything relevant.

I have suffered from some stress incontinence for decades and it was getting worse. Since the menopause, I have also experienced vaginal atrophy

Earlier this year, I got a Kegel 8 and it has exceeded all expectations. Easy to use; you set your own level of workout and the accompanying handbook has clear instructions and a comprehensive list of 'programmes' to help with different conditions.
There are lots of informative videos and helpful information on the website: www.kegel8.co.uk/

Honestly, it's the best purchase I've made this year and I wish I'd known about it many decades ago.

kegel8, helped massively, no more prolapse. Self diagnosed so caught in early stages. Pelvic floor exercises do help of course but kegel8 is beyond good and strengthened my muscles so that any pelvic floor exercises that I do, when I remember, are really worthwhile. I don`t need to use kegel8 much now but it is always ready and in a bedside drawer. Very easy to use, I sit on my bed and read a book

My friend suffers with this.
The nurse at the clinic told her to stand on her tiptoes and hold. I don’t have this problem but I tried it. You certainly feel those muscles tightening.

Can a kegel8 be used if you have a ring Pessary in place?

Thank you. This is the toner that I've been looking at but I don't trust reviews on the product website. To hear from 'real' people that have used it is a much better review.

The Innovo from the old thread is not an internal device. It is a pair of cycling shorts with a device attached that stimulates the correct muscles. It is expensive but it works. You can get up and answer the door while wearing it!!!

I don't know, Nandad, but there is a live chat option on the website (see link in my previous post) so you could ask the question there.

I have a Kegel 8 but found that it wouldn't stay in place, slipping out all the time which was a real nuisance. An expensive item now relegated to a cupboard! Back to the manual exercises.

I cracked pelvic floor exercises when I realised they are the same ones I become aware of when I have an orgasm. Also if you put a mirror near your perineum as you lift your pelvic floor you may be able to see the outside actually lift so you know you are doing it properly.
