Just that really.

I was taken to hospital with lights flashing and sirens nee naming!

I'm starting to feel better but was horrified that it could take up to 6 months to fully recover I don't have time for that

Sorry to hear that kitty. I am not sure what you have but hope you are feeling better soon.
If it helps I have been told my hip will take 12-18 months for my hip to heal but have been up and about for some timenow. Good luck and keep in touch.

Goodness kitty. I’m sorry, no experience to offer you. Patience may be needed it seems. 6 months to be fully recovered doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be unwell for that time, just need to build things gradually and listen to the medical advice about how much to do. As silver said about her hip it doesn’t necessarily mean you can do nothing during the recovery period. My surgeon said two years for the body to fully recover from knee surgery. I was out and about almost immediately and able to do most things with. 6 weeks. Just be careful, please.

Sorry to hear this Kitty, wishing you a speedy recovery.

( Adopting stern “talking-to”voice )
You do have time to let yourself recover and get back to full health. You don’t have time to lay yourself up indefinitely or at worst to shorten your life.
So sorry to hear this kittylester - please, please lie back and do as you are told
{hugs} too flowers

Sorry to hear this kittylester. My FIL had this a couple of years ago and it did take him a good few months to recover - but he has other health issues and is 86. I’m sure you’ll be up and about - taking it gently - within a few weeks. But worth taking the hospital’s advice obviously. Wishing you all the best

Oh Kitty, do take care and give yourself time to heal?
I didn't know what it was, so asked Mr Google.
It sounds serious, so , adding to what Maw has said,
"do as you are told", please!

Very sorry to hear this kitty. I doubt your lovely family will let you lift a finger for a while but even after that you must do what the hospital has told you to. Hugs from me too. ?

Never heard of it so looked it up.
Doesn’t sound like a barrel of laughs, does it ? Poor you ?
I don’t know how I’d cope with the resting period.
I’ve very recently had 2 days on the sofa with a twisted ankle.
I thought I’d go stir crazy with that!!!

I can't sit and do nothing- I hate it
