Norforklass
When I had a sore tongue, i was referred under the two week cancer pathway.
Nothing to panic about, it is just what the dentists did at that time.
(It's probably all changed now)

Thank you, yes he said he would follow up in a month but it’s so sore. Going to ring the dentist on Tuesday too.

Back to the doctor, I would suggest. I really wouldn’t mess about. I hope it resolves soon. flowers

I went to our doctors with a lump on my tongue the doctor wouldn’t even look at it and told me to go the dentist.

A dentist would probably be the best person to have a look and give advice, I think. (But I doubt they would just write it off so easily)

I have a small white lump on my tounge and it’s very sore. I went to my gp and he said it doesn’t look nasty but keep an eye on it. After some research of my own I think it maybe a skin tag or wart. Anyone else had anything similar. I’ve been taking ibuprofen for the pain but don’t know what if anything to put on it topical . Any advice would be much appreciated.
