Thank you all for your replies. I don't know if I'm doing this correctly, however! I'll take everyone's suggestions into account.

Have you tried phototherapy? My DH got almost complete relief from his.
It was over 30% of his skin in lesions and went to less than 5%

You do need to make an go appointment to get a dermatology appointment for phototherapy. Also you might need to speak to a counsellor as the effects in mood from skin disorders cannot be overlooked and brushed aside. It’s not easy. Hugs to you.

I'd started my reply just after the about 1.30 but got interrupted so didn't see yours until I'd posted Razzamatazz. Give the Exeskin a try, it really does provide some relief.

Hi mimiso psoriasis is horrible isn't it and yes, it is exacerbated by stress in fact it was stress due to a family situation when I got it the first time.

It used to be quite bad but now it's just on my elbows, knees and a little on each shin. I'm so sorry that yours is getting you down. Mr. S. got me some Exeskin by Ultra Bee, he found it on line.

It is very good especially when it's particularly itchy but very greasy so best applied at night.

I have it badly too, my sympathies. I hate the greasy grind of it and have never been completely free, I've had it for 45 years. It's very itchy at the moment, always seems to happen near the clock changes of autumn. I'm using E45 to ease the itching but have obviously been scratching in the night, again have bled on my sheets.

I started taking Vit D during the summer and had about three blissful weeks without it and thought I'd cracked it - then it started coming back.

Have you tried Body Shop Hemp body butter?

Okay, so I've had psoriasis almost sixty years, sometimes better, sometimes worse, usually easy to cover up apart from on the beach. Just lately, however, I now have areas on my neck and hands. Most creams are totally useless. Sometimes it goes away by itself.
Does anyone else suffer on here and are there any ideas what to do? I know some people change their diet with good results but with others it makes no difference. What frustrates me is the timeline - when I'm having a clear spell is this because of something I did three months ago, or something new I did last week? Ditto with flare ups, are they a result of last week's stress or something from months ago?
I'm really depressed that it's so bad now. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
