or is it harder to bounce back from bugs and things picked up from the grandkids?
I took myself off to bed early last night but spent most of the night running from the bed to the bathroom. Other half didn't even manage that - I was dowsed when he coughed and missed the bucket. So a change in bedding, shower, the whole lot at 4 in the morning.
I've had to cancel a hospital appointment and girls night out and have spent the whole day under a blanket - snoozing and himself has not moved from the bed all day!! Neither of us can stomach anything more than water right now. So don't even have the energy to even move.
Have had to cancel taking grandkids to school in the morning so they are booked into breakfast club.
Don't think we have ever felt so rough in a long, long time. We used to shrug these things off and carry on living normally - is this an age thing? Or is this us having to build up immunity again after lockdown?
Just feeling sorry for myself!!
anyone else 'age proofing' their homes
