Viruses doing the rounds

Is anybody else suffering from what might just be a cold, but feels bad enough to be Covid - only any tests are negative?
I’ve had it for two weeks and it comes and goes- sore throat, coughing, headache, general lassitude and (dare I say) grumpiness?
I’m thoroughly fed up as I don’t have the energy to do very much - I almost wish it was Covid because then I could tick that off (as I’ve swerved it up to now) and it would give me a reasonable excuse for hunkering down with daytime TV, the dog and Heinz tomato soup.

I was told off by my doctor friend for saying that nasty bugs were 'doing the rounds' at the local school (but they were!). 'It's not really like that' he said 'Most 'bugs' are there all the time and people catch them when their immune systems are low, in the winter, that's all.' he said. M0nica, we should go to Australia for six months.

CanadianGran

Virtual hugs and perhaps a hot tea with a shot of Grand Marnier from me!

Hope you all feel better soon, and take advantage of the ability to have long naps.

Now that sounds just like my kind of recovery. I had forgotten about Grand Marnier. Thanks for reminder.
