I've been recommended to use one of these to ease the pain of eareach. BUT a hot wet towel cools very quickly.

Does anyone have any suggestions of alternatives to try?

I use a microwave wheatbag when my parotid gland swells up. Just 1 minute in the microwave so it’s not too hot. Might be worth a try 🤞

maybe a small hotwater bottle wrapped in a hot towel?

Put a dessert spoon into hot water. Remove it and pour olive oil into the spoon to warm it. Pour the slightly warmed oil into your ear.
